New Admin API endpoints 🚀

Update shipping method : You can now update shipping price, shipping title and shipping method with ease using new admin api Update Shipping Method endpoint.

Read all scheduled order : Now you can read all scheduled future orders for all subscriptions using this endpoint.


API improvements 📈

  • Shipping, Delivery and Pickup date order attributes values are updated when an action is taken via admin or storefront API. Please note this is done only if the following settings are enabled :

  • Highlight subscriber-exclusive products in the upsell ribbon to drive interest.

How it works?

  • Go to Loop > Customer portal > Upsell > Specific upsell profile > Upsell header text (at the bottom) > Input the required HTML customised content. Upsell profile header text will replace the general upsell profile header
  • If personalized upsell header text is kept blank, then it falls back to the general upsell profile header configured under Customer portal > Texts > Upsell section > Upsell header text.
  • Configure multilingual content for personalized recommendation header by going to Loop > Settings > Multilingual text > Upsell profiles > Specific upsell profile

Enhanced Notifications Suite

We are excited to announce significant updates to our notification suite. This release aims to improve communication between you and your customers, while ensuring a seamless management experience.

New Notifications for Key Events

  • Subscription Marked for Cancellation: Notifies customers when they initiate the cancellation process for prepaid subscriptions.
  • Subscription Rescheduled: Sent when the delivery date is changed for a subscription order
  • Subscription Delayed: Sent when a subscription is delayed by a subscriber
  • Order Unskipped: Alerts customers when an order is unskipped, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Shipping address changed: Alerts you when the delivery address is changed for a subscription.

Customizable Notifications and Third-Party Integrations

When taking actions like rescheduling or delaying orders from the Loop admin, you can now choose to notify customers. Additionally, all notifications trigger events in third-party integrations, enabling seamless workflows and automation.


Test Email Functionality

To ensure that email notifications look exactly as intended, we have introduced a new test email functionality. You can preview how an email notification will appear before sending it to customers by simply clicking the "Send test email" button in the template editing screen.

Simplified Template Editing

The template editing process has been streamlined by making the Save button appear only when changes are made. This helps prevent accidental saves and ensures a more focused editing experience.

Loop's AI based translations are here! ✨

Launch subscription experience in multiple languages within minutes by leveraging Loop’s AI-based translations with a single click.

How to use?

  • Go to Loop admin > Settings > Multilingual texts > Select any language to translate
  • Click on the “Auto translate” button
  • All the blank fields will be populated automatically with AI-generated translations.

How it works?

  • Auto-translate doesn’t overwrite the already translated fields
  • All the empty texts across all modules for the selected language will be translated in one go.
  • While the translations are in progress:
    • “Translations in progress” badge will be shown
    • “Auto translate” button will be disabled for the specific language
    • Text field input will be disabled to avoid conflicting saves.
    • Stores will be able to update the text once translations are done.
    • Navigation to different sections of the specific module will be disabled.

Feature availability: Only available for Pro and Enterprise stores.

  • Widget V2: Turbocharge your subscriber acquisition with our brand new Widget V2. Our powerful, Shopify app-block-based architecture enables you to host multiple widget designs on different product pages with a seamless installation process for Shopify 2.0 themes. Learn more
  • Prepaid V2 enhancements: With Flows support, you can gamify the experience for engaging prepaid subscribers. Customers now have the flexibility to swap or remove products easily and add discount codes. Reactivation of prepaid subscriptions is now available. Additionally, you can view the complete credit history in the Loop admin and adjust credits against subscriptions, useful for manual refunds. Learn more
  • Offer Free shipping via Flows: You can now offer free shipping to customers for achieving subscription milestones. Customers with free shipping added will see the shipping charge as zero on the customer portal.
  • Two new bulk actions: You can now “Recalculate shipping rates” for specific subscriptions. This is super helpful for brands delivering in multiple geographies or using multiple shipping apps. “Change subscription plan” action allows you to update frequencies/discounts based on selected selling plans, keeping all your subscriptions in sync.
  • Split bundle into individual items: Boost first-order AOV by acquiring via bundle, and then retaining customers by splitting into individual items to provide ultimate flexibility with individual item management. A perfect fit for razor/blade subscription models.
  • Prevent cancellation for EMI based subscriptions: We have introduced a new preference for EMI based subscriptions. This helps you prevent cancellations before the set number of EMIs are paid by the customers in a given cycle.
  • Customer portal login link event: Send localized login emails to customers in multiple countries through the new event added on 3P marketing integrations. Additionally, a new customer property, $loophasbundle, enables targeted marketing to customers with bundles. Learn more

Track upsell analytics 📊

You can now leverage the isUpsell key in API-hub to seamlessly track and analyze upsell performance, helping you gain valuable insights into customer purchasing behaviour.

The key isUpsell has been added in the following endpoints :

  • Admin API : Add line, Add line once
  • Storefront API : Add line, Add line once

Note : Upsell performance can be tracked by heading over to Loop admin portal > Analytics > Products.

Add & update line item properties 🛠️

You can now leverage line item properties to effortlessly store customer specific information using our new endpoints for both complete and partial attribute updates available in the Admin and Storefront APIs.

Admin API:

  • Update line item attribute: Fully update line item attributes
  • Patch line item attribute: Partially update specific line item attributes

Storefront API:

  • Update line item attribute: Completely update line item attributes.
  • Patch line item attribute: Make partial updates to line item attributes

API improvements 📈

  • Prepaid Subscription Support: Fetch details for prepaid subscriptions with the new isPrepaid key across both Admin and Storefront APIs.
  • Enhanced Inventory Management: A new lastInventoryAction key with values SKIPPED, DELAYED, and PARTIAL_BILLED has been added in the 'read all subscription` admin api endpoint to improve insights into inventory status.
  • Easily fetch specific subscription details on your storefront: Fetch specific subscription details directly through our enhanced endpoint.
    The response also includes a hasOrdersInProcessing key for better tracking of order status post 'Charge now' action.
  • Billing Date Accuracy: Next billing date is now accurately shown only for active or definitely paused subscriptions.The key will be null when a subscription has been paused indefinitely.
  • Customer Insights: New email filter on 'read all customer' admin api endpoint, along with keys for paused, cancelled, and expired subscriptions count.
