Add customer tags in upgrade profiles

What’s new?
Add customer tags to easily identify customers who have accepted the specific upgrade offer.

Why was this needed?
Merchants required this so they can tag and track customers who completed an upgrade and, based on that, add a free gift to their subscription as per their business use case.

How to access the configuration?
  • Navigate to Grow > Upgrades > Create new profile
  • Select the required upgrade type and go to the "Customer tags" section.

Support to show delivery date in “Last order details” section on the subscription details page in the customer portal

What’s new?
Brands can now configure the “Last order details” message to display both billing and delivery dates directly on the subscription details page in the customer portal. Separate text fields have been introduced based on the selected order schedule preference, enabling brands to tailor the messaging accordingly.

Why was this needed?
Previously, when the order schedule preference was set to “based on delivery,” there was no supported variable to display the scheduled delivery date in the main subscription view. The portal only showed when the last order was charged, and subscribers had to open an additional pop-up to view delivery details. This added friction and reduced clarity in the portal experience.

Configuration via Admin portal
Navigate to Customer portal > Themes > Texts > Order now flow texts and search for the following fields:

  • “Last order details (Order schedule preference based on billing)”
  • “Last order details before delivery (Order schedule preference based on delivery)”
  • “Last order details after delivery (Order schedule preference based on delivery)”

Order-Based Bulk Actions Now Supported for Definite Pause Subscriptions!

We’ve enhanced the order management for subscriptions with a definite pause duration. You can now skip, delay, or reschedule future orders for subscriptions that are paused for a set period, using bulk actions.

How Does It Help?

Subscriptions with a definite pause have future orders scheduled, but until now, you couldn’t adjust these orders if the subscribed products went out of stock or needed rescheduling. With this update, any orders linked to a subscription with a definite pause can now be managed just like active subscriptions.

Remove discount action enhancement in flows

We have added new match conditions (All, Contains, Equals) to the Remove discount action in Flows, giving brands precise control over which discount codes are removed.
This helps avoid conflicts from volume or product-level discounts, ensuring remove and swap workflows run smoothly.

What’s new

  • Three new match conditions are now available in the Remove discount action:
    • All: Removes any discount code, regardless of what’s applied.
    • Contains: Removes discounts where the code includes the entered text (e.g., BFCM removes BFCM10, VIP-BFCM, BFCM_2025).
    • Equals: Removes only an exact code match (e.g., WELCOME10 removes only WELCOME10, not WELCOME10-NEW).

Why this matters
Brands using Kaching bundles with volume discounting often apply product-level discounts that can conflict with product removal or swap steps. This enhancement lets brands remove discounts first, then run remove/swap actions smoothly, without discount-related blockers.

Swap campaigns improvements

We’ve significantly improved swap campaigns to make swap experiences more flexible for brands and clearer for subscribers while bringing swap in line with the standard campaigns framework across templates.

What’s new

  • Many-to-many swap mapping: map multiple existing products to multiple “new products to swap with,” giving subscribers more choice and improving acceptance rates.
  • Variant-level control: enable variant selection so swaps can be configured at the variant level (not just product level).
  • Priority and mapping edits: edit priority order and update mappings directly while building the campaign, making iteration faster.
  • Revamped swap drawer: a redesigned, clearer swap experience that highlights the current product, recommended swap option, and other available swap options to reduce confusion.
  • Broader targeting: apply Swap to all subscriptions (not only active subscriptions) for more proactive swap strategies.
  • Standard campaigns capabilities: Swap now supports the same baseline structure as other campaign templates, including channel selection and limited-time availability.

Track Churned Subscribers and Run Reactivation Campaigns!

We’ve made it easier to track churned subscribers and engage them with reactivation campaigns. Here’s what’s new in the Subscribers report:

🗓️ Churned Date
You can now see the churned date, which is the date when a subscriber canceled their last active subscription. A filter is available for easy tracking.

⏳ Last Cancelled Subscription Date
This new column shows the date of the last cancellation on a subscriber’s account. It will match the churned date if that was their most recent active subscription.

🔔 Important Updates: Enhancements in Loop Analytics

We’ve made some significant improvements to Loop Analytics to streamline your experience and provide more accurate, real-time insights.

⚡ Today’s Metrics
Due to refresh delays key metrics, we have disabled selecting today’s date across these analytics pages. The last 30 days will now exclude today’s date to prevent confusion and ensure consistent data reporting.
To make up for this, we’ve introduced a Today's Performance section on the homepage, reflecting real-time metrics and performance comparisons to yesterday's data. The following metrics are now available:

  • New Subscribers
  • New Subscriptions
  • Checkout Revenue
  • Recurring Revenue

📊  Subscriptions Analytics Page Revamped
In our effort to simplify reporting, we’ve removed the standalone Subscriptions Analytics page and integrated it into the Subscribers Analytics page. This change is aimed at shifting merchant focus from subscription-level metrics to customer-level trends.
Key changes include:

  • Subscription Trends and Activity sections are now part of the Subscribers Analytics > Overview page.
  • Subscription Trends now allows visualization for any time period, with a default view of the last 30 days (previously limited to 6 months).
  • Subscription Activity now tracks activated, deactivated, and net changes.
  • The Subscriptions Activity Trend has been replaced by the Subscribers Activity on the Home Dashboard, maintaining the same reporting style.

These updates are designed to improve your data accuracy, simplify navigation, and provide better insights for managing your subscriptions effectively.

We’ve added powerful new tools to help you optimize your payment recovery strategies. Our new Backup payment metrics and Payment recovery tracking features give you valuable insights into your payment success rates, so you can improve your recovery tactics and reduce churn.

Backup Payment Metrics in Payment Analytics

We’ve introduced Backup Payment Metrics, allowing you to track the performance of backup payment methods. These new metrics help you understand how effective your backup payment methods are, and enable better decision-making for payment recovery.

Key Highlights:

  • Monitor backup payment attempts and recovery rates.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of backup payment methods.

To get started, ensure that the backup payment method is enabled in Loop.

Payment Recovery: Card Updates vs Retries

Now, you can track whether your payment recovery happens through card updates or retries, making it easier to measure the success of both methods.

New Metrics:

  • Recovery contribution split: See how much each recovery method contributes to overall success within a selected time period.
  • Recovered via card update: Track subscriptions that were recovered by updating payment methods before the next payment attempt.
  • Recovered via retries: Measure how successful retries are in recovering payments based on your configured retry days.
  • Recovery contribution trend: Track trends in overall recovery and the share of success between card updates and retries.
  • Failure reason-wise recovery contribution: Get detailed insights into recovery success, broken down by each payment failure reason.

We’re excited to roll out new reports and improvements that will provide you with more granular insights and make reporting easier than ever before. Here’s what’s new:

New Reports

We’ve introduced two powerful new reports, Processed Order Line Items and Checkout Order Line Items.

How is this helpful?
For merchants seeking granular data, these reports capture every line item associated with a subscription order, helping you differentiate between subscription items and one-time add-ons.

Major columns in these reports include:

  • Order placed at
  • Loop order ID
  • Shopify order ID and number
  • Subscription ID
  • Product name, price, and quantity
  • Discounted total
  • Is upsell
  • Is one-time added

Reporting Improvements

We’ve also made several reporting improvements to enhance your analytics experience.

  • "Marked for Cancellation": Merchants can now easily identify prepaid subscriptions marked for cancellation in the subscriptions report, enabling proactive customer reach-outs to prevent churn.

  • Currency Column: We’ve added a currency column in the subscribed products report with a filter to provide better currency tracking and analysis.

  • Plan Name Filter: Now you can filter for "Deleted Plan" to help identify products without an active selling plan, improving data accuracy.

  • Line Item Attributes Column: This column now tracks custom attributes set on subscriptions, allowing for deeper customization and tracking.

  • Order Tags Column: The order tags column and filter are now available in Checkout and Processed Orders report for better tracking of A/B test results and specific order conditions.

  • Inventory Forecast Report: A SKU filter has been added, helping merchants track the inventory forecast for products sharing the same SKU code, improving stock management.

  • Last Payment Attempted Date: This new column in the Subscription Report makes it easier to track failed payments and identify subscriptions that require follow-up action.

  • Delivery and Billing Interval Filters: Added to the Processed Orders report to help analyze failed orders, track payment issues, and assist in internal accounting purposes.
