Introducing Dynamic Bottle Deposits!

Good news for beverage brands! Our new Dynamic bottle deposit flow keeps the refundable “Pfand” (container-deposit) line item perfectly in sync with every bottle a subscriber adds or removes - no need for manual edits or disabling product changes by customers.

The flow runs on Subscription created, Products modified, and Recurring order placed triggers and adds the deposit with a dynamic quantity equal to the live bottle count.

Available for limited merchants, to get access contact your success manager!!


🔍 What’s new

  • Real-time sync – Deposit SKU quantity updates automatically whenever a subscriber changes bottle quantities.
  • Full-journey coverage – Works on new subscriptions, product edits in the portal, and each recurring order.
  • Hands-free compliance – Eliminates manual corrections and keeps you aligned with local deposit laws.

⚙️ How to set it up

  • Create three flows – one each for Subscription Created, Products Modified, and Recurring Order Placed.
  • Action 1 (Remove product) – choose your existing bottle-deposit SKU.
  • Action 2 (Add product one-time) – select the same SKU and set Quantity = Dynamic. Select bottled products for which the bottle deposits are to be added.

Dynamic quantity logic – total bottles in the order (subscription items + one-time adds − one-time removals).


This update means worry-free operations in every region that already enforces a deposit-return scheme - including most of Europe, all Australian states and several Pacific islands.

Limit how many units of a product can be added in a subscription, and how many orders a customer can place per day from a subscription. Prevent bulk-buying abuse before it chips away at your margins.

Whether orders come from your customer portal or admin portal, rules apply everywhere. No more loopholes.

💡 Reduce Chargebacks & Unauthorized Reselling

Prevent fraudsters from abusing discounted subscription products and reselling at retail. Protect your brand, your revenue, and your customer experience.

How to Set It Up?

  1. Go to Loop admin > Customer portal > Preferences > Fraud prevention (at the end)
  2. Enable Maximum orders per day preference to configure a maximum number of orders allowed for a subscription per day.
  3. Enable Maximum quantity per item preference to configure a maximum quantity value per item that can be added or updated in a subscription.
  4. Setup error messages by going to Loop admin > Settings > Store texts > Error messages

Admin Portal - Smarter Filter Controls

You can now create powerful filters based on:

  • Product Options (e.g., Size: Small, Medium, Large)
  • Product Metafields (e.g., spicelevel, dietarytype – full list in comments)
  • Product Tags

For each filter, you can define:

  • Selection Behavior: Allow multiple selections or just one
  • Display Options: Show all unique values dynamically or show only specific values (e.g., just “Small” and “Medium”)
  • Display Order: Decide how filters are ordered on the bundle builder screen

Customer Portal – Effortless Discovery

Filters now work just like they do on any e-commerce site:

  • Customers can apply multiple values within a filter (Size: Small OR Medium)
  • Filters across categories combine to narrow down results (Size: Small AND Color: Red)

This helps customers quickly find what they want, boosting conversion and reducing friction.

How to Set It Up?

1️⃣ Go to Loop Admin > Bundles > Bundle of choice > Filters > Add Filter

2️⃣ Name your filter (e.g., “Size”)

3️⃣ Choose your data source: Product Option, Metafield, or Tag

4️⃣ Select the specific field (e.g., Size under Product Options)

5️⃣ Define display behavior:
 – Show all available values
 – Show only specific ones (e.g., “Small”, “Medium”)

6️⃣ Control how filters are shown and sorted on the bundle builder

📅 Introducing Specific Billing Days - Only Bill When It Works for You!

Tired of subscription orders landing on days your team isn’t around to fulfill them?
Now, you can set exactly which days of the week your subscription orders should be billed - giving you better control over fulfillment and support timing.

What's New?

You’ll now find a new setting under Settings → Order schedule preferences → Billing days. You can choose between two options:

  • Bill orders on all days: This is the setting enabled by default.
  • Bill orders on specific days only: Select the days of the week you want to allow billing, like Monday to Friday, and we’ll automatically skip the rest.

If a billing day falls on a non-selected day, the order is shifted to the next available billing day. This setting applies to all new subscriptions once enabled.
