Subscription management made easier 😊

We have always been obsessed with providing the best-in-class subscription management experience, and to take one more step in this direction, we have upgraded and launched multiple features for the same.

Bulk Actions upgraded ⭐

  • Finally! You can now run Bulk Actions on specific customers or subscription lists to be uploaded as CSV.
  • Filter specific subscriptions if any of the multiple selected products/ variants are present in the subscription and take a common action.
  • Bulk swap multiple products/variants with a single variant to run Box of the Month programs or offer alternatives in stock-out situations.

General subscription management features

  • Limit max delay allowed under custom delay option for preventing customers from delaying their next order by an unreasonable period, like 2-3 years.

  • Control customer notifications trigger if subscription management action is taken from admin. Please note that the event will still be activated in 3rd party apps like Klaviyo, irrespective of this setting. You can setup trigger filters on "notify_customer" key for Flows of each action to stop sending emails/SMS for admin actions.

Schedule orders basis "Delivery Date" 🚚 or Charge X days before delivery 💸

Tailor your subscription schedule with delivery dates rather than billing dates, or start charging X days before the delivery date by defining a charge offset.

Highlighting important elements:

  • Exclusive capability: We're one of the first subscription platforms offering a toggle-based transition to delivery date scheduling without coding.
  • Switching made easy: Effortlessly switch back to a billing-based schedule or update charge offset with our one-click bulk action.
  • Enhanced customer experience: Clear info about the last charge and upcoming delivery dates. Calendar functions for rescheduling or pausing now work as per delivery dates.
  • Coming soon: Automatic synchronization of subscription schedules from delivery dates collected on Checkout through Zapiet integration.

Here, the "Next order" represents the delivery date, and the highlighted text describes the last charge date to avoid multiple order placements.

How does it work?

Setup: Navigate to Settings > Order schedule preferences. Configure your delivery-based schedule with a charge offset.

Admin Experience: Order schedules align with the delivery date to present your support team with the exact details of customers. Features like the rescheduled calendar and order history now work as per delivery dates.

Reporting: A new "Charge offset" column is added across several reports, while the order date still represents the charge date.

Integration Updates: Events payload for Klaviyo, Attentive, Omnisend, and Recart now includes charge offset. Loop notifications variables are also updated. Kindly update your templates once you make the switch.

Swap settings enhancements

You can now decide the exact inclusion and exclusion list of products for swap flow on the customer portal.

What has changed?

Initially, you were only given below options to configure your swap flow:

  • All products
  • Only variants of the same product
  • Variants of the same product type

but now you can choose "Custom list of products" to provide the exact list of products to be made available for swap.

You can also find the "Exclude products" section at the bottom, irrespective of your product eligibility option in the above step.

Note: If you want your VIP subscribers to keep swapping between variants of exclusive products not present in your custom list, then enable variant swap settings under Custom list of products section.
