What’s New?

  • Mobile friendly: Checkout banners ensure quick discovery of the upgrade to subscription option on checkout for mobile users.
  • Seamless upgrade experience: Customers can upgrade multiple products to a subscription in a single click, driving higher conversion.
  • Engaging subscription offer banners: Upload checkout upgrade banner images for better callout of incentives to convert one-time customers into subscribers. Also, helps overcome Shopify's limitation of allowing HTML-enabled content on checkout

How it works?
  • When only one item is eligible for upgrade to a subscription.
    • Fetch the highest priority selling plan group available on checkout for the product.
    • By default, the default frequency will be selected on the banner.
    • On click, the product will be upgraded to the selected frequency.

  • When multiple items are eligible for upgrade to a subscription.
    • Fetch the highest priority selling plan group available on checkout for each product.
    • Identify and list only the common frequencies available for all the products on the checkout upgrade banner.

Run A/B Experiments to Optimize Your Cancellation Benefits Page

We’re thrilled to introduce A/B Experiments for Cancellation Benefits Pages. Brands can now test different retention content strategies by playing with content format, messaging, visuals and more to uncover the most saving benefits pages.

Key highlights

  • Test different content formats: Experiment with video vs. text, GIF vs. video, or messaging in founder's video to see what resonates most with your subscribers.
  • Simple setup: Create your benefits page in a few simple steps by configuring audience split, winning criteria and importantly content for control and variant group.
  • Side-by-side preview: Easily compare control (A) and variant (B) content design, allowing for quick feedback and visual insights needed for iterations.

How to create an experiment?

  • Audience split: Define the percentage audience split between control (A) and variant (B). Subscribers will be randomly assigned to A or B design when they click to cancel.

  • Winning criteria: Set a minimum delta in save rates to declare a winning variant. Example:

    • Case 1: Control (A) - 10% saves vs. Variant (B) - 12% saves = B wins (20% more saves)
    • Case 2: Control (A) - 10% saves vs. Variant (B) - 11% saves = No winner (less than 20% improvement)

  • Experiment completion: Define the experiment duration based on

    • Number of days
    • Number of cancellation attempts

Performance tracking:

  • A/B experiment tracking is available in Loop Admin under Tools and Apps, where you can track:

    • Save rate
    • Attempts & saves
    • Day-on-day trends
  • Export results to analyze which variation was served subscriber IDs, content variants, and outcomes.

What happens when experiment ends?

  • Once experiment ends, the control design will automatically start getting displayed for all the subscribers.
  • However, up to 7 days post-experiment end, both content versions will be visible and brands can decide which variant to continue with.

🎉 Reward Journey Flow Templates are LIVE!

What’s New?

We’re excited to introduce Reward Journeys in Flows, a simple way to celebrate subscriber milestones and boost lifetime value (LTV).

With Reward Journeys, you can design milestone-based programs that surprise and delight your subscribers with discounts, mystery gifts, and custom tags tied to specific orders.

How It’s Useful

No more repetitive setup: You don’t need to keep adding the same conditions and order triggers repeatedly, reward journeys simplify this with a pre-built structure.

Boosts subscriber loyalty: Subscribers stay engaged with visible rewards and banners that celebrate progress and upcoming milestones.

How it works:

1. Create your flow: Navigate to Loop Admin → Retain → Flows → Create flow and choose Reward Journey from the pop-up.

2. Define journey conditions: Segment subscribers based on attributes like subscription type (prepaid or not), streak status, customer tags, or demographics. These conditions apply to the entire journey.

3. Configure order-based rewards: Decide what happens at each order milestone, add or remove discounts, surprise subscribers with a mystery reward or assign customer tags.

4. Set up notifications: Keep subscribers excited by displaying a reward banner in their portal. You can also send reward emails through Loop or add reward text to upcoming order emails.

5. Control banner visibility: Choose whether the reward banner hides after the journey ends or stays visible for a set number of orders after completion.

🔔 Important Updates: Enhancements in Loop Analytics

We’ve made some significant improvements to Loop Analytics to streamline your experience and provide more accurate, real-time insights.

⚡ Today’s Metrics
Due to refresh delays key metrics, we have disabled selecting today’s date across these analytics pages. The last 30 days will now exclude today’s date to prevent confusion and ensure consistent data reporting.
To make up for this, we’ve introduced a Today's Performance section on the homepage, reflecting real-time metrics and performance comparisons to yesterday's data. The following metrics are now available:

  • New Subscribers
  • New Subscriptions
  • Checkout Revenue
  • Recurring Revenue

📊  Subscriptions Analytics Page Revamped
In our effort to simplify reporting, we’ve removed the standalone Subscriptions Analytics page and integrated it into the Subscribers Analytics page. This change is aimed at shifting merchant focus from subscription-level metrics to customer-level trends.
Key changes include:

  • Subscription Trends and Activity sections are now part of the Subscribers Analytics > Overview page.
  • Subscription Trends now allows visualization for any time period, with a default view of the last 30 days (previously limited to 6 months).
  • Subscription Activity now tracks activated, deactivated, and net changes.
  • The Subscriptions Activity Trend has been replaced by the Subscribers Activity on the Home Dashboard, maintaining the same reporting style.

These updates are designed to improve your data accuracy, simplify navigation, and provide better insights for managing your subscriptions effectively.
