Mystery rewards campaign to surprise high-risk subscribers
Keep your most discount-sensitive subscribers from churning especially during BFCM by surprising them with mystery rewards instead of letting them cancel or chase better deals.
What’s new
- Run “mystery rewards” campaigns that target high-risk subscribers, especially around BFCM, to tackle same-day churn and prevent cancellations for better subscription offers.
- Offer either a free gift or a discount as the mystery reward. The actual reward is only revealed and applied when the subscriber claims it.
How it works
- Eligible subscribers see the mystery reward experience on the customer portal every time they load their subscription page until they claim it.
- All text and messaging for the mystery experience can be configured and edited directly in the campaign admin.
- To prevent discount abuse, each customer can claim the mystery reward only once. Once a customer redeems an upsell item from the campaign, the mystery experience is no longer shown.
Note:
- Mystery campaigns always run across both channels: customer portal and email/sms notifications.
- If a subscription qualifies for two mystery rewards (one from a reward journey and one from a campaign), the campaign-based mystery reward will be shown with priority.
