New in Cancellation Flows: Custom Treatment Actions 🚀

With Custom Treatment Actions, brands can now retain subscribers by offering personalized experiences during cancellation flows. Whether it’s booking a call, accessing educational content, or receiving personalised support, this new functionality allows for greater flexibility and better customer engagement.



Why This Matters
Not every subscriber retention effort needs to be a discount or a pause. With custom actions, brands can engage customers through human interaction, personalized content, or valuable education. This is a powerful tool for customer retention without affecting the subscription schedule or revenue realization.



How to Set It Up

  1. Go to Retain > Cancellation Flows > Reasons in Loop Admin.
  2. Click "+ Add Custom Action".
  3. Add a clear label (e.g., "Book a call with a us") and paste any URL (Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, or custom landing pages).
  4. Prioritise the action per reason to ensure relevance for the subscriber’s situation.
  5. Custom actions can be reused across multiple reasons, eliminating duplication.

Reporting & Analytics

  • All custom actions are tracked as saves in cancellation analytics.
  • Custom actions will appear in the "Treatment opted" column of the cancellation report.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of each custom action through the Saves tab in the Cancellation Analytics dashboard.
