What’s new?

Smart upsell profiles dynamically suggest upsell products based on the current subscription items. Here’s how it works:

• Dynamic product suggestions: Products in the subscriber’s current subscription are analyzed, and related items are recommended.
• Smart sorting: When multiple products are in the subscription, related products are sorted by relevance.

• Factors considered:

  • Historical purchase trends: Products frequently bought together are recommended.
  • Description matching: Similar product descriptions trigger relevant recommendations.
  • Collection matching: Products in the same collection are suggested.

Brand control:
Brands can fine-tune what is recommended by using product tag-based rules to ensure only the most relevant upsell products are shown.

How to set it up:

1. Navigate to Grow > Upsells > Personalized upsell profiles > Create profile.
2. Select "Smart recommendations" under Recommendation types.
3. Apply recommendation rules based on product tags to customize recommendations.
4. Configure the rest of the profile and mark it as active.
