New acquisition date-based condition in Flows & Cancellation Flows
Brands can now trigger flows and cancellation experiences based on when a subscription was created. The new “Subscription created at” condition supports both absolute and rolling date ranges and is available across Flows and Cancellation flow experiences (Benefits, Reasons, Offers).
What’s new
You can now target subscriptions using:
Relative (rolling) windows such as Last 30 days, Last 3 months, Last 6 months, and more.
Absolute date ranges including:
- Between specific start and end dates
- From a specific date onward
- Prior to a specific date
Once configured, the applied acquisition window is clearly displayed inside the flow, making targeting easy to validate and audit.

Why this matters
Not all subscriptions behave the same. Now your lifecycle strategy doesn’t have to either.
This unlocks smarter, acquisition-aware retention logic:
Newly acquired subscriptions
Trigger stronger save offers during cancellation, route them into a dedicated early-retention flow, or avoid deep discounts while nudging with education and light incentives.
Mid-lifecycle subscriptions
Prioritize benefit-led messaging over heavy discounts. Promote swaps, skips, or reschedules instead of defaulting to cancellation.
Long-tenure / loyal subscriptions
Highlight loyalty perks, exclusive benefits, and personalized messaging while reducing unnecessary friction or aggressive save offers.
