Upgrade subscription campaign action 🚀

Brands can now launch targeted Upgrade Subscription campaigns that drive higher AOV and long-term retention. This action enables SKU upgrades, frequency changes, and quantity upgrades — all with configurable incentives — and can be triggered inside the customer portal or via third-party apps like Klaviyo.

What’s new

Brands can now create upgrade campaigns for:

SKU Upgrade
Move subscribers from a base variant to a premium or higher-value SKU.

SKU Upgrade + Frequency Change
Upgrade the product while adjusting delivery cadence to match usage.

Product Quantity Upgrade + Frequency Change
Increase subscription quantity and optimize delivery frequency in one seamless action.

Each upgrade can be paired with targeted discounts to make the transition compelling and value-driven.





Scenarios & Use Cases

1. SKU Upgrade
A subscriber on a standard product can be nudged toward a premium version.

Example:
Current – Standard coffee pack delivered monthly
Upgrade – Premium coffee pack with 10% off

This works well for subscribers satisfied with the product but open to a better experience or higher quality.

2. SKU Upgrade + Frequency Change
Upgrade product size and optimize delivery interval together.

Example:
Current – 1 pack per month
Upgrade – 3-pack bundle delivered every 3 months with 10% off

Ideal for customers seeking convenience, better value, and fewer delivery touchpoints.

3. Product Quantity Upgrade + Frequency Change
Scale subscription volume while aligning delivery cadence.

Example:
Current – 1 pack monthly
Upgrade – 2 packs every 2 months with 20% off

Perfect for growing customers whose consumption increases over time and who respond well to structured incentives.
